What is this label for?
The start label is the first label of a print job. It marks the stack of shipping labels that follows, so drivers and the warehouse see at once which route it belongs to and whether the stack is complete. Part of a print job made of three templates: start label, one shipping label per shipment, end label.
What this template contains
- Inverse header with job name and creation time
- Large route ID in font 0
- Ship date and depot
- Shipment count, total weight, pieces
- First and last SSCC with route and recipient
- Job ID as Code 128
When to use it
- Before every delivery route or wave
- Batch printing from a database or ERP
- Completeness check in the warehouse
- As one job together with the shipping and end label
